Lara Trump shared insights on the influence Barron Trump had on his father Donald Trump’s campaign for re-election, describing him as the “sleeper” who contributed to the success.
The future president’s daughter-in-law noted that throughout the 2024 election campaign, the 18-year-old student from New York University would reach out to the president-elect, providing suggestions on how to attract more voters.
“He’s undoubtedly his father’s son,” the spouse of Eric Trump stated on the PBD Podcast. “He’s constantly coming up with ideas…we definitely need to acknowledge Barron’s significant input.”
Barron, who has mostly remained out of the public eye, has been recognized for helping the former president become more visible on podcasts that appeal to a younger male audience. He has participated in podcasts with Logan Paul, Theo Von, and The Nelk Boys, as well as streamed with Adin Ross. Donald Trump has also appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, which has become one of the most popular episodes to date.
Lara, who is currently campaigning for the Senate seat held by Marco Rubio in Florida, shared her thoughts on Barron: “He’s incredibly intelligent, very cool, and quite entertaining.”
The youngest son of the president-elect cast his vote for the first time this year upon turning 18.
Members of the campaign have also acknowledged Barron’s role in the 2024 election.
“Barron has been quite active in suggesting several podcasts we should consider,” said Jason Miller, a senior adviser. “I must say, hats off to the young man. Each and every suggestion he’s made has proven to be a huge success in terms of ratings.”
