How to enable dark mode in Drive
Dark mode in applications allows you to achieve a black background, which improves visual rest and is not as annoying as the white background, which can strain the eyes, especially when reading long documents. This new functionality of Google Drive will gradually reach users, specifically, the web version, so a box will appear where, if desired, users can activate dark mode with just one click.
However, if the dialog box is closed and you want to activate it later, users can access the settings and click on ‘Settings’, where the possibility of changing the appearance and enabling dark mode will also gradually appear. Additionally, some customization options in Google Drive can already be changed. For example, you can change the density, choosing between three options: comfortable, cozy, and compact. Also, on the main page, you can change the layout, choosing between the list of items or the grid.
