While the Christmas festivities have concluded, President-elect Donald Trump still possesses several names on his naughty roster.
In a Truth Social update released on Wednesday evening, the soon-to-be 47th president of the United States identified a few former White House employees as “individuals afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome,” urging the public to refrain from endorsing job applicants who have previously collaborated with any of them.
“As of this moment, the forthcoming Trump Administration has recruited over 1,000 individuals for The United States Government. They are exceptional in every respect, and you will witness the results of their efforts in the years to come,” Trump stated.
“We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and it will occur swiftly! To save time, resources, and energy, it would be beneficial if you would refrain from suggesting or submitting individuals who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (led by Charles Koch), ‘Dumb as a Rock’ John Bolton, ‘Birdbrain’ Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psychotic daughter, Liz.
“Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper, or any of the other individuals suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, frequently called TDS. Thank you for your attention to this issue!,” he finished.
Trump has expressed his discontent with all the individuals listed, including his former close ally, ex-Vice President Mike Pence.
The two had a disagreement following the January 6 Capitol turmoil, during which Pence primarily held Trump responsible for the events leading to the insurrection. Pence also indicated that Trump put him and his family at risk in his 2022 memoir, So Help Me God.
In contrast, others on the list, such as former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Senator Mitt Romney, have been vocal opponents of Trump and his sway over the GOP, both choosing not to support him in the upcoming 2024 election.
Former House Speaker Paul Ryan similarly opposed Trump in both the 2020 and 2024 elections, stating to Yahoo Finance at the Milken Global Institute Conference in May 2024 that he “wrote in a Republican the last time” and planned to “write in a Republican this time.”
Ryan also labeled Trump a “populist, authoritarian narcissist” during a virtual Teneo event in 2023. “Trump’s not a conservative,” Ryan mentioned at that point. “He’s a populist, authoritarian narcissist. So, in historical context, all of his attributes basically derive from narcissism, which leads him to do whatever gains him popularity and satisfaction at any moment.”
Another individual on Trump’s blacklist, Former General and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, was also a critical voice against the president-elect, going so far as to compare him to a “dictator” in his retirement address in 2023.
“We do not pledge allegiance to a king or queen, to a tyrant or dictator or aspiring dictator,” Milley stated at the time, presumably referring to Trump. He further remarked that the nation’s service members did not risk their lives just to see “this incredible experiment in democracy fade away.”
Miller also characterized Trump as a “fascist to the core” in a discussion recounted in renowned Washington journalist Bob Woodward’s 2024 book War.
“No one has ever posed as great a risk to this country as Donald Trump,” Miller informed Woodward. “Now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is the most perilous individual to this nation.”
