Barron Trump has discovered a convenient way to connect with new acquaintances at college—he enjoys playing video games with them from the ease of his own home.
The youngest child of the president-elect is currently a freshman at New York University, yet he has been unable to engage normally with his peers due to the constant presence of his Secret Service security team.
Standing at 6 feet 9 inches, it’s challenging for him to blend in with a group and socialize.
As an avid gamer, he has taken the initiative to invite his fellow students to play online.
As reported by TMZ, 18-year-old Barron has solicited Discord usernames and gamertags from other students. Discord serves as a platform for gamers, allowing users to create personalized profiles and interact with fellow gamers.
A passionate soccer player, Barron reportedly favors the game FC25, which was previously known as FIFA.
During the election campaign, Donald Trump mentioned that Barron encouraged him to participate in an interview with popular streamer Adin Ross.
Trump shared with Ross, who gained recognition by streaming games like NBA 2K20 and Grand Theft Auto 5, that his son is an enthusiastic fan.
TMZ cited NYU students indicating that Barron is driven to and from his classes in an SUV and doesn’t spend excessive time on campus, often situated at the back of his economics lectures accompanied by his Secret Service detail.
Nonetheless, the teenager is characterized by his classmates as being approachable and “chill.”
