The updated sedan and wagon are now available for orders ahead of their arrival at dealerships in June-July 2024. Here are their changes.
Skoda updates the fourth generation of its Octavia model, both in the 5-door sedan body and the Combi wagon (both measuring 4.7 meters). With over 7 million units sold, it is the brand’s most popular model.
The updated model receives new front and rear bumpers, an updated grille, new second-generation Matrix LED headlights, and new alloy wheel designs. It is offered in four levels of trim – Essence, Selection, Sportline, and RS (the latter will be added later) – and features nine different interior designs.
In addition to using a greater number of new and sustainable materials for the seats, dashboard, and door panels, a 10-inch digital screen will be standard on certain model variants. The well-known 10-inch Virtual Cockpit with enhanced functions and Head-Up Display are still available.
The 13-inch infotainment screen is offered as an option for the first time in the Octavia, while the 10-inch screen is included as standard.
The updated Octavia now also features a wireless charger with 15-watt charging and ventilation, and four USB-C ports for fast charging, with a power of 45 watts. The 15-watt USBC port located behind the interior rearview mirror is standard from the Selection trim level. ChatGPT also arrives in the model, although it will be integrated later into the standard Laura voice assistant. The intelligent parking assistant and remote will also make their debut on the Octavia.
